Description	:	Artist Bio: Jason Sims/Coffeehousefilms Coffeehouse Films is a Los Angeles based animation company specializing in character modeling and animation. We produce original animated content for distribution via the available digital media outlets available today. Coffeehouse Films founder Jason Sims began animating as early as high school back in the late 70’s with clay animation and then foam latex animation puppets. After graduating from UCLA, he worked in the newly developing computer graphics industry starting in high resolution business graphics sector (pre-Powerpoint), to a five year stint in the self publishing world of the comics industry to working at an L.A. based advertising agency. Having gone full circle, Jason now focuses his time on his first passion, Animation. His animated short production "The Obama Experience" was inspired by the ground breaking efforts of the Barack Obama campaign. Jason felt the need to produce this piece as his contribution in documenting this important period of time in American History. The end product goal was to capture the energy and excitement of this historic campaign. What’s next for Coffeehouse Films, our next project being produced is an as of yet untitled science fiction short. Our ultimate objective is to market and produce feature length productions available through mainstream distribution channels. In the meantime, we want to have a good time getting there.
